The car-sized digicam that may see a golf ball from 15 miles away is almost prepared to start out taking epic photos of the galaxy


The world’s largest digital digicam ever made has now been put in and will begin photographing the galaxy as early as subsequent month. The Legacy of Area and Time (LSST) is a car-sized, 3,200MP digicam designed to detect faint celestial objects because it captures a decade-long timelapse.

The digicam has now completed the set up course of on the Vera C Rubin Observatory in Chile and is able to start closing testing earlier than capturing its first celestial photos.
